I am more into the racing aspect of it. And they are just tools for the job.

Could not agree more, would probably be in a dragster right now if I didn't have to give one or both of my cars away to get it.

with both... I will hand this car down to my Son soon and get a full chassie car x-PS setup.
What the heck it's only $$$$.. I might be taking over the driving of my Dads car, so somebody needs to smack the pedal on the Super Scamp..

I love all my cars, but they have wheels and can roll out the door and in the door for the right CASH.

Well I've had my Savoy for over 20 years and my wife still parks her car out in the snow while my Savoy sits in the heated garage

You guys that say your cars are just tools ....

please sell them right away to some Mopar guys who will appreciate them .

Then go buy a nova or Camaro race car = they are WAY cheaper to build / race / maintain

Its just a tool --why not save yourself a TON of $$$$$$$$$ ???

I too have never married no kids, I have put my hart and sole into my car since 1979. I was 15 years old, I found it at an auto wrecker, fell in love with it, 71 Scamp 4spd car, I had to have that car, paid $300.00 for it (needed an eng)I have been driving it ever since. It is now a Summer only,street/Drag car in the 9s
LOVE MY MOPAR.

You know I am out of work now and have a very bad back and knees and have applied for disability. I am basically broke and getting in deep with my bills. But my 63 is the car I have wanted all my life and I feel like a 10 year old kid on top of the world when I get behind the wheel of my street/strip 63 Sport Fury. It is exactly the car I have always wanted and no matter had bad things get for me I will never sell it. It's about the only real fun I have right now and I have it just the way I want it. It kinda reminds me of my dogs as no matter how down I might be it always puts me in a great mood. So to answer your question........yes I love my Mopar ! Ron

Yep! I have wanted a black 68 Cuda since I was about 8 years old. Looked at many when I was without the right funds or they were too far gone. When I found this one, I probably gave too much for it for the condition it was in but, I already had a vision of what I wanted. I dropped the money and started gathering parts to build it to my liking. That took about 6 years longer than I wanted. Now I have had it done for 6 years and I still get gitty when I fire it up.

I would love to have another racecar, but not at the expense of this one. I think this one would make a good driver someday.

Oh
I have had mine since 1987 and have had a great time with it.
I decided it was time to start on a different project so something had to go. The race car was getting the least amount of use and cost the most to run so it needed to go to a Good home other then mine.
Now it's gone and the next project is slated to get started this spring.
I will always have a Good Memory of the car and the Good times we had together.
David

<--- Got the perfect car for him

I love my car, I just have taken this car as far as I would like to go with it. I wish SOMEONE ELSE loved it as much as I do, then they could enjoy it and I could move on..

Never had a door car for a racer. Have had 4 different dragsters built for me after the first one. I have never gotten attached to any of them or parts. Some parts only lasted 1 run. One of them tried to kill me also, no love for it. I have 2 286" TAD in my shop now. I don't "love" them even though I poured my heart and soul into them. There just steel tubing to me.
