If you take the time and effort to adjust it properly most cars can use vacuum advance.

OK. Good deal. They're usually there, so I doubt it'll be different this year. Hopefully they'll have a few.

Do you recommend picking up a firecore distributor as well?

Thanks.

If you need a new distributor, the Firecore units are pretty nice for the money. They're what I use.

No Sir, I don't really need a new one. I just didn't know if I should upgrade now along with the revenator.

I picked one up from Mancini Racing along with a new MSD coil. I skipped the distributor.

It would be interesting to see a "Rev-N-Nator" made to appear as a NOS Mopar piece. Maybe the rev limiter can be hidden behind the ECU - it would only take 2 bolts to remove and adjust. The customer can add a part number/date code and slap on a Chrysler Electonic Ignition sticker on top.

The same would hold true for a high performance coil and wires - to have a stock/NOS appearance would be great!

Just a thought...

Mine recently failed, car was running poorly and missing badly under acceleration.
Thought it was fuel but it turned out the fix was the old ignition modual I had in the glove box. 25.00 replacement car back and running as it should, Rev-n-nator has under 500 miles on unit.
Emailed Tony waiting on response.

Still waiting!

Received my Rev back updated and repaired per RTGarage.
Had to lone it to my Boss so he could send his back, same issue with his except he is experiencing no starts as well.
Hopefully they can get his fixed as well.
