OK alot of us bought FBO systems before this was available...

Is the box plug and play with an FBO system?
What would I need to do to the FBO setup to use this?
change parts? etc...if so, what parts, where do I get them...

Will it improve an FBO system by itself?

If your moving from an old FBO A688 ignition system to the Rev-n-nator, you have to change out the FBO coil, it was not designed to work with the Rev-n-nator ignition system.

If you went to the new HRR688 FBO ignition you would still have to swap the old FBO coil for the newer one, because again, it was not designed to work with the newer HRR688 ignition.

I believe you can use a Blaster 2 coil.

From the second page....

Hello, Yes it will work with or without a ballast. As for a coil, stock or any aftermarket coil will work fine. If you like a stock look, we recommend a MSD blaster 2 or an Accel Super Stock. On our customer cars, we paint them black and mount them in the stock location. If you want to get locked in at the 149.00 price, leave us an email at thertgarage.com Thanks, Troy and Laura

Fwiw , i bought one , glad i did - i overreved my 4 speed i really think the box saved me , also the car sputters with the fbo coil , switched to a msd coil, ran good .....

All these other brands showed up out of the blue ,but i will not buy from fbo -- i hAve not done any real time hp checks at the track ...

My timing did change , but i did not run leaner or richer ( i do have an lm1)

For the guys wondering if there are noticeable differences on anything other than a race engine , I tested the Rev N Nator on a low compression street 360 I have been testing on my dyno .
I know the graph is hard to make out,you need to look closely to see both lines. There is one for the Rev N Nator and one with an MP chrome box. Both were tested with an MP distributor and Blaster 3 coil.

I'm not sure if this is the lowest horsepower engine these have been dyno tested on,but on my dyno it is.
This engine is just a late model L.A. 360 with 8.8 to 1 compression,an MP "761" cam,M1 dual plane,Holley 670 Street Avenger carburetor and 1 5/8 street headers when this test took place.
I will update with some other results as soon as I get back to testing this engine with a little different combination.
I broke down the power differences to show the exact gains, some may want to argue Troy's claim of 10-40 hp gains here. I broke it down without it being rounded off to the whole number so on a little 300 ish hp engine it " only" gained 9.7 hp. Rounded up it would have shown10

The Rev-n-nator Charger went to church To confess its SINS . Check out the video. We set the rev-limiter at 5,000rpm we think it was a good thing, you can hear the Pastor bouncing off it at 5000!! This was a very kool church, they know how to have fun! http://vimeo.com/57876323 Also, we recently found out Mopar Collector Guide voted the Rev-n-nator #1 Mopar aftermarket part for 2012!!!

I would think in about 60-90 days we will have things ready. Rick is ready to go, but we are gearing up for a production run. Currently we still have black Rev-n-nators in stock. We are out of the Orange Rev-n-nators. So once we are stocked up again, the packages will be available.

Thanks The R/T Garage

Installed the Revanator this afternoon.
Did not have to retard the timing, car idles better and starts better.
Went out for a short ride motor ran fine.
Throttle response awesome!!
WOT awesome!!
I took her back the the Garage after she was good and hot.
Restarts fine, Idles fine.
It seems to be money very well spent.
Linginfelters is opening there collection to the public this Saturday.
They have a lot of really unique cars to check out.
We will drive the car out to Brighten about 1.5 hours and 100 or so dollars worth the fuel.
