Mid season this year I was asked to drive this gold duster for John Kilroy who was to sick to race it. My second race in it I went to the final. I called his wife and told her about it. She told him all about it. She said you could tell by the look on his face he was very happy. Sadly he passed away a few days later. His wife told me to keep driving the car because thats what he would have wanted. I continued to drive the gold duster and went to a few more finals and went just a ton of rounds. Every time I won I couldnt help but think it was for John. His wife then asked me if I would like to buy the car since I had made a name for it and treated it so well. Well I bought it and I am going to keep it exactly the way it is and continue to win for John. Just thought I would share this with you guys. Here are some pics of "goldmember". RIP John Kilroy.

I will be taking this car to Vegas next week for the thanksgiving bracket nationals with Dustin aka Triple Threat. Hope to see some of you down there.

My folks had a 72 Duster that color, NEW. It was a 198-/6, 3 speed on the floor.

Thanks everyone. John made sure he was at the track every weekend until he just couldnt make it anymore. His wife told me that she wants to come out next season and watch me run it. Going to turn on a whole lot of win lights next season!

It would be cool if you could replace the "Gold Duster" decals on the fenders with stickers made of the same material, color and font, but read "Goldmember" instead.
