no, he now has some indy heads, mechanical flat tapped cam, dual quads and a 2:76 gear.
maybe for you in the states 190mph is magic, but here we have lots of cars running 200mph
with less than 2000hp! 190mph is 306km/h and that is what he drove. measured with gps.
for what do you need 2000hp? for sure not to reach 200mph. an unlocked BMW M6 is close to 200mph and has little over 500hp.
I think the difference is he wants to do it in a 1/4 mile...not on a 2 mile run. apples and oranges.

I used an online calculator and a 3650 lb car would need about 1400 hp to hit 200 in the 1/4. Not saying that's too much or not enough, just what the computer spit out. As mentioned a wedged shaped car is going to do it easier than a brick.
1400 in a 3650lb car won't get anywhere close to 200
just used a different calculator and it spat out 2227hp. Wonder why the difference???

Car would have to weigh 2264 lbs to run 2000 MPH with 1400 HP
