Hey guy's I am in the process of tearing my car back down this year and while I have it apart I figured I would bump the performance up a little. My question is what would be the best suited head for my engine ? 318 X block 4 bolt mains , 422 cubic inches Eagle rods and Steel crank. Ross pistons. I am leaning toward another matched roller cam when I change things also. The engine has about 11.5 compression with my open Eddy heads now. M1 intake and a 950 HP carb. Bang for the buck which heads would get me the most performance ?

Streeted a little but mostly race. I am looking for about 700 Hp. Right now we are just shy of 600. I figure keep throwing Hp in my heavy azz car to make up for the creature comforts.

Indy 360s either the 230 0r 245 cnc. I had a set(245) on a 421 sb and made just shy of 700hp with 11.8 to compression.I would think this would really pick up your program.

What rocker , intake and exhaust do the 360s need ?

If you were changing pistons I'd suggest W9's or B1 BA MC's, but since you're doing a freshen, I agree, the Indy's are the way to go.
I would order up a set of T&D rockers right from the start. The stock Indy stuff is garbage.

INDY 360-1/-2 use standard W-2 manifolds and headers.

The rockers are particular to thse heads. Definitely opt for the T&D set-up.
