Hey all

I was just curious what everyone's plan for their cars over the winter. I myself am kind of at a crossroads. I think the coronet has a lot more in it with a few tweaks to the chassis. So, I'll be focusing on that for me.

What are you all doing?

TONS

Rebuild the engine for the procharger
Finish the procharger setup
Have a tranny build to withstand the new power
New Driveshaft Loop etc
Switch to a Locker for the Dana

Forgot, sending my heads to Dwayne Porter to get done

May pull out all the wiring for the fast xfi system so that I can dyno the engine

Loose a few more pounds, tweak my combo a little more, CNC port the heads.....then go get my 8 second N/A small block time slip. Probably going to run the divisionals next year in Super Street and try my hand at that throttle stop/pro tree racing stuff.

Replace all front end bushings.
Engine rebuild.
Change shifter handle.
Engine compartment detail.
Add power brake booster.
Replace brake drums and shoes.

Pretty much the same thing I'd planned for LAST winter... which goes to show how (un)sucessful that effort was.

Go through everything. New tires, maybe change gears, maybe Q16. Putting together a list now.

Just plan to upgrade to a larger electric fuel pump over the red Holley pump on it now. Other then that just plan to tweak the car over the next few years hoping to work it down to 10.50's. Ron

Line lock, braided brake lines, 2" headers, run braided 3/8 line to carbs........ummm that should do it. Hope to pick up a tenth or 2.

Well as of Wednesday it sounds like I could be having a very big sale over the winter.

My plans are simple. Move the car in the back of the garage, place it on jack stands, and put the cover on it. Then bring out the snowmobiles.
