Dont TTI make a 2"-2-1/8 step header, or stahl headers are 2-1/8 as well.

Yes I have the new proparts/ TTI deal that are 2 to 2 1/8 th steps and they are 3 1/2" collectors... Only got the car out twice to the track and 1 time was for an event and had to work first and third shift just to go have fun...

People always seem to say the full
Hooker fenderwells make more power than the proparts... Who knows! I know our combos are similar and run the cnc345s . I saw you posted you went from single 4 to the tunnel ram!

I had the cppa /tti headers very tigth fit and the hooker headers no room for tire and master cylinder ,just didmt like them , I even welded back the panels that I cut off

1050 had 98 jets went to a tunnelram two 750s 80 jets in them , timming at *38


the heddman headers look nice to try out or go custem

ARI...I have to agree w/ sledgehammer about the timing. I'm assuming you have flattop pistons since your compression is around 12:1 w/ those heads and that many cubes. If so, then you ought to try backing the timing down to 36°, then try 34°. I bet it runs better w/ less timing.

Chip I'm starting to get this SV1 tuned in better! I went 111 and change in the 1/8th and went from 28 to 32s on the highs and I went 112.8mph on back to back passes and nothing else changed... 60s were even 1.44 each... It was a hair over 1.5mph pickup! I have lots more tuning left but only other time out was the Jensen mean street deal.

compresion is 13.1

flat top J/E pistons 7cc valve releafs and 71cc heads

next time out I will have the 1050 with 95 jets and *35 timming

need to stay out of the 9 sec zone or im going home again

I will do some 1/8 mile testing or get my comp lesions (sp)

Just go ahead and get you license and the full monkey suit. It really wasn't that hard. I went to a walk in clinic for the physical, $100. Made all the passes on a test and tune night.

You know your car right. Could you hit the shut off without seeing it? You pass. Just line up a couple people you know that are licensed to sign your application before you do it. No sweat.
