i just bought a rear tail panel trim for my 68 dodge coronet r/t, the problem is , it has a hole drilled in the very center, what is the best way to fix this hole, i am putting on a restoration,
street show car, luckily, the hole is in the center , easy spot to fix, can some please give me insight on how to fix this hole?

weld a small patch over the hole from the back side,dimple,thin layer of filler.

weld wth what kind of welder? i do not have access to a welder, can i use j b weld or somthing like it?

no on the jb weld! take the panel off and bring it to a body shop,muffler shop,or local repair gararge and have a small patch of metal welded on. it could also be brazed,go easy on the heat to prevent warping it.
