I want to put a 5.9 magnum in my 318 A body. I don't have any motor brackets/mounts. Are all small block the same or??? I do have a set of 318 B body brackets/mounts, are they the same?

The 360 has a different mount bracket on one side, don't remember which side though. I'm thinking DS.

I got a set of 360 brackets from a B body & they didn't line up in my Dart, so i ended up useing my original 318 brackets & did some fabbing on the one bracket, These were the Bisket mounts.
This is what the "360" brackets look like, I was "told" these were for a B body , But they did bolt up to the engine.

the 360 has wider mounts on one side.
you can use spacers on the that side to make it fit with the 318 mount.

A 7/16" nut makes an excellent spacer. I ground the flats off of mine for looks, but it's not necessary.

Thats what I did for mine too. Just used grade 8 washers. So you should be fine to pick up some parts store 318 mounts, and just use grade 8 washers to take up the slack.

edit: pass mount was the same, I only used washers on the drivers mount

The brackets that JoeDust posted are indeed for 340/360 B/E engine. The pass side is the same 318, only drivers side is different. The bracket on the left side of his pic is drivers side mount.

It's the orientation where the biscuit bolts to the bracket. Here's a pic of a drivers side 318 bracket and one modded for use on a 340/360.

Are the B body 318 brackets the same as the A body brackets? I have a set of B body 318 brackets I will use if I can space them as stated above.

no a-body and b/e body mounts do not interchange, simple as that, look in the A-body or small block parts for sale section, Wayne Brewer has a set of 340-360 67-72 A-body steel engine mounting brackets for sale.
