I have some friends that are investors in that deal, so I hope to know more. fury62 member Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 167 DANBURY CT	going back about 10 years, they had the same proposal at stewart air force base in newburgh ny. that would have been a 1hour ride for me,but it was squashed by some vip's that owned property in the area. living in ct, I would be happy with a 1/8 mile strip. the tribe that owns mohegan sun wanted to build 1/4 mile on their property in ct, but because of economy woe's that was scraped.

71cuda enthusiast 7 Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 205 upstate new york	I race at esta and i am on the board of directors. i don't know where you get your info , but i take offense to you calling my home track a dump. in the last 8 years we repaved the entire track,installed a new timing system.what other small home town track has 300'594'1/8and 1000' timers? we have a new tractor with a rubber box,fire truck with foam. what more do you want?i went to maple grove last sunday,my 60'where within .02 of esta. i don't know who you are or how much you race at esta.but i think we do a good job for a local track that can only run 1 day a week. howard roberts #g110 ,2010 pro footbrake champ.

Does that mean I can store my car next summer or when the track opens at your shop????? Man that would save some towing fuel. I hope it happens in a way but I would worry that two drag strips would not servive in Syracuse.I can not see how any motor sport track has servived the last ten and really the last 3 years. Best of luck to them. If the MODS did their job I would not be hitting the notify MOD button. LOL
