Hello Moparts people:

After owning this 1966 Barracuda for 20+ years, I just found out it was a factory silver car with bright red stripes and red interior. It's also a center console car with bucket seats. Not such a big deal till you know its a 6cyl car (225ci)

Anyone know how many built with this combination?
I can find a breakdown of 6cyl vs V-8 but no color and combo numbers.

Any help will save this car from being driven everyday to a full on resto.\

Thanks,
Joe

Joe, I think most Barracuda's came with the bucket seats and console. The 64 had the push button automatic transmission. I had a /6 and it was like that. As for the stripe That may have come later. Most I have seen with a stripe is not a really wide stripe, less than 12in, I believe. As far as restoring the car, how many of them do you see where you live? In my area of NC there are none. In 65 there were only 64000 Barracuda's made. Wonder how many are left today? I am restoring a Formula S and there were less than 6000 made.
Hope this helps you to decide to restore yours.
