i am going to try a closed loop into my engine radiator next with my air to water intercooler and have some an -16 welded into the radiator cross flow bee cool.my rad is a rt side top entry and left bottom outlet so i think the best place for the fittings is close to those hoses.

Maybe I am reading it wrong - but you don't want 160°-200° heated engine water going thru the intercooler.

The air coming out of my turbo is 275° and I try and cool it with 40° water in the intercooler system - to end up with 90° air at the end of a pass. If I started with 200° water I would probably only see the IAT drop from 275° down to 250° since the intercooler cannot chill the air 100% to it's own temperature.

I don't think engine-temp water will cool the charge air at all.

the temp on the inlet side of the engine will be cooler where ther supply for the cooler will be.
i can add to the system a 12x13x1" before the pump to the cooler but after the rad.

it will not be worth the time and money spent!!! get a electric water pump in line style and a fuel cell full of ice water will work a hundred times better

ok Thanks everyone.i have been using a cell with ice or tap water[mostly tap water]i know the engine rad is not the best option but it is good to have other options sometimes.
