Dave....very nice article. seeing the valiant in person at your home was a treat. unlike the confines of the mopar nats with the heat, bugs, and crowds this time i was able to take it all in. i still cant get over the color and texture of the undercoating. the time and effort you put into that one single detail may be more than most entire restorations including my own. after a 2100 mile drive it was nice to stop by your office to say hello, meet your staff, and go out for a bite to eat. it's not everyday a stone cold new yorker gets to see a herd of deer next to the dodge diamante (thankfully in trailer)). when nick and i bring it back to socal in the spring we will stop by again and check on your next project! my best to cindy, dave, and tom the mad photographer...

Tom, any way you can post pics of the drawings of this "so called" 4 door cuda? I mean, c'mon.... whose leg are you pulling? We all know the cudas and challengers were 2 doors.

Dave/Team Valiant:

Excellent article on the Cars and restoration process along with the product development associated with each restoration. Dave graciously invited me under the ropes on both the Challenger and Valiant during judging at the Mopar Nationals and both cars are simply incredible and certainly deserve the recognition they are receiving. The Challenger set a new standard for OEM/Gold Restoration, a standard that appeared impossible to surpass until the little Valiant made its debut. The quality of the restoration and the components used on each car created a finished product that allowed everyone in attendance to step back 40 years and experience the feel of looking at a new Car sitting on the showroom floor of your favorite dealer; the time and detail spent returning each bolt to its original position, the impeccable undercoat restoration and even the return of the new car smell made the Valiant a work of art. During the Valiants Restoration RPM was developed, I have performed extensive testing on this product and its protective qualities are impressive. RPM performed well and exceeded expectations on testing that ranged from thermal shock to Salt fog testing along with practical testing on several vehicles while maintaining the original finish and correct appearance of the component it has been applied to. Again, congratulations on the article and the success of RPM and enjoy the positive response and experience at SEMA regarding its presentation next week.

Attached is a thread containing several pictures of the Valiant…Enjoy.

Shannon

Hi Steven,

Here are a few pictures from your visit. It was great to see the Diamante up close and personal. What a unique and fantastic car. It rode perfectly even around those hairpin turns doing 175 mph. I can't believe you drove around those deer without hitting one. I'll post a few more pictures later.

Hi Guys,

We just returned after 6 Days at the 2011 SEMA Show. We had quite a few from the Moparts community stop by and watch the Penny Demonstration for RPM.

We were honored to receive one of SEMA's highest awards for RPM. The International Media Award is chosen by the International Media from 13 countries in attendance and honors products they feel have the highest market reach in their countries and were chosen from nearly 2000 new products this year. Awards were presented at a special reception Thursday evening.

Stay tuned for more info.
