My 4 ply 26's were always above 40, usually 45+ Never an issue. I can tell you the car drive 100 times better with a radial on the front though.

STABLE?, i go threw the traps @ 171 mph in the 1/4 mile and the roadrunner has weighed over 3,500lbs...with 50 lbs of front air pressure...i give up with you people!!!
