got a guy who just bought over 6K of AMD sheetmetal from me that is in need of the gaskets behind the hood inserts on his 68 road runner. I have not seen them but said I would check it out and see.

They are plastic like the tail light bezel to quarter panel gaskets and I think someone makes them but I need to check who that is.......I'll be back

I bought mine from Mega Parts for $17.99 back in 2004. Their phone # is 608-452-2045. Hope this helps.

The gaskets pictured may fit/function fine as long as they are very thin material. The originals were made of thin plastic and looked like 'trays' that sat down into the hood bezel depression. The problem with them is that they often trapped water and lead to rust holes under the bezels. This then lead to very 'weird' rust on the underside of the hood.
