Or you could just sell me that scrap like it is . My new powerplant is going to be blown and I could save you the trouble.

So how do you like that set-up? Is it streetable with the carbs?

Some more details about that combo would be great..

It's a 526 4.310 x 4.500 w/KB block and Stage V big valve heads, TD/Barton rockers. The mistake I made was not having PSI cut the bottom of the blower bigger to hold less boost in the case. If I keep the car, I'm going to send the blower back for a bigger cut so I can drive the blower slower and use pumpgas for street driving.

It made 1629hp @8000rpm, just touching 20lbs and even in this configuration, it's pretty easy to putt around. It's just expensive to burn C-16. With the small cut, the discharge temp in the manifold climbs when going slow, or stopped at a light. It drops as you drive and the harder you hit it, the cooler it gets. Just opposite of a roots.

After talking with PSI, we'll probably redo a couple things and knock it down to the 1200hp range for street driving on 93, then swap pulleys, retune the carbs and drive it to 30lbs with C-16 and see how much we can make.

Unless I sell the car and turn my Dart (superstock style chassis) into a grudge deal.

You couldn't be more right. To much steam isn't really fun on the street cuz you can't jack around with it and burning C-16 to get a burger is ridiculous.

If I don't sell the car, I'm going to back the engine down plenty by opening up the blower cut and a pulley change. The chassis is killer so it can take good power, but the most fun I ever had in a street car was in the mid 90s with a 69' Barracuda w/SS springs.....it had a 499ci 440-1 that ran in the 9.20-9.40 range. About 800hp and was a blast on an empty Rt. 25 connector and ATCO rent days.
