Working with Yates is like working with Bob Glidden. It won't end well, and at least Glidden will make you fast.

Yates always bought his fast. When he ran low on money, he ran low on fast.

Like him or not, what ever Yates has brought has improved 60 ft times by about .030 according to the results this weekend.

Like Yates said, MPH is among the best. If you look at the 2 races since J & J debuted the Hass chassis, they slowed nearly .040 over all and most of it is in the 60 foot.

AJ had the quickest pass in the 4th round yesterday and his driving has been very good this season.

mistake from my perspective. Just wait till they start losing engines to bad tune-up calls. doesn't know the difference between detonation, rich or lean.

I dont think Roy Johnson is going to let anyone touch his engines...Yates is going to help with the chassis...

Roy owns the tune up he may accept advice but he's not going to let anyone screw up his engines

I really can't see what Yates brings-to-the-table ... but RJ and AJ must think diff.

And I will FREELY ADMIT that those guys probably have forgotten MORE about PS than all-of-us HERE know combined....

his help they can do with out,
as for him in a second car , god hope not
as the above post said, he bought his chassie set ups,
serioisly doubt that he knows much other than the driving aspect, even his motor program went away as he could keep up after he and maskins parted ways, other than the motors that where previously built
if he was that good he would be driving a pro car again, he wouldn't be looking for handout jobs,
sorry, just don't believe he is any cause of there increase in the this new car. have yet to see this new chassie do anything different from the older chassie until they find the guy who knows how, they will still be sub par , all ways searching , mid pac standing , mediocor runs
whats really amazing is ,all these chassies are really close to each other, surprized its hard to find a guy that doesn't know how to set them up get them down track,

I don't think so...Yates is strictly there for chassis help,as he always ran Haas cars for most of his career.

I have always felt there has been chassis/clutch issues with AJ's cars, the power is there, just need to hook it to the track.

Well, not sure how Yates or anyone can fix Vinny "the kid" Nobile's reaction time. Congrats to both of them, though, with all Roy Johnson hemi power!

it'd probably be easier if people just didnt post results. but i understand some people need to feel important by telling others whats going on FIRST... like they were the FIRST to know.

i'll avoid all race threads (starting with this one) and stick to the which wheel stud should I buy threads instead.

Sorry to pee in your Wheaties, plastic. Was merely trying to say that AJ is doing better today, not to feel important, as you say. Have a good day.

I don't get it, it's common knowledge by now, you have a computer, you can get the results, deal with it.
