I don't doubt it weighs that much. Those things are tanks.

i need to find a scale that i can verify its calibration.
Go back to either scale and weigh yourself on it first and then drive the car on and get out, weigh it, get back in and weigh it again Most large commercial scales are not real accurate down low, below 10,000 lbs I weighed my Duster on one of the local state police scales for commercial truks, it siad that the car weighed 3100 lbs with me in it I took it to the Las Vegas MATS race and weighed it again, the track scale siad it weighed 3350 lbs with me in it, no changes I have since weighed it here in my shop on indidvidual 1000 lb platform(portable wharehouse scales that where certified by the state) scales and the scales at the track where correct, not the state commercial truck scales

allot of things come into play ,if the scale is used for selling product, it is certified! now there are 'slides' that the scale moves on , if those 'slides' haven't been serviced, you will see those the scale throw out wrong weights, the scales at youre local truck stop if they are 'cat scales will be acurate , if it has been maintained, if they have been maintained, they will be accurate, no such thing as not being accurate under #10000 , as i stated above , the 'break' of the scale does effect some of the exact numbers 69 rr all stock was @3500-3700 @ car
