Ive got 245 45 in front and 255 50 on back , and the ride IS NOT rough .In fact very smooth ride even with the tight springs I have . I went same size all around this time because the car tracks and handles better to me this way .I used to have 15x10 on the back and Super Bee's look cool that way too .

That is one very nice looking bee.......DAMN

How tall a tire can you run in the rear?

Well these are 17x8 up front & 17x11 in the rear the rear tire is 29" tall so I think there is plenty of room for sidewalls...

What is the BS on the wheels and tire sizes?

Thanks
C

What size tire are you running on those 17x9 and was there a reason you went with the same size all around - most people go narrower on the fronts?

-C

I'm in the market right now - the reason you run the front the same as the rears is that certain wheels only have a certain offset (usually zero) I'm having a hard time finding companys that do a negative offset on the wheels i want...

The rear wheels have 6" of backspacing, the tires are 315/45-17's and were specially made by Goodyear for the McClaren F1 & I'm still looking for a set of spares... The ones I have are brand new but there isn't currently a tire available in a comparable size... To bad cause they really fit amazingly well everywhere.... BFG does make a drag radial that size but it actually measures bigger...

The fronts have 4" of backspacing & the tires are 245/50-15's

I could easily fit my dads 275/60/15's back there. Thats the only bad thing about my 295/50's, theyre short. His are on an 8 inch rim though. He has a 68 GTX which the 275 are about as big as he wants (smaller space than dodge's).
But I believe a few guys have 305 50's but I'm sure springs have been moved or other things....

I like the welds, but the new ones are in a whole new realm.
