Took the car to Norwalk this past weekend for some 1/8 mile racing. Beautiful day. Low 80's, low humidity, and nice track conditions.
Unloaded the car and warmed it up. First pass it went 6.402 which it is always just a tad slow first pass. Next four passes in order were, 6.350, 6.348, 6.346, 6.344 all at 107 mph with change. Best corrected altitude was 2185' and worse was 3222'. I was pretty happy with these times as this is the first time in the 30's this year. Now if the driver would have showed up too. The first round I dialed a 6.34. Ran my dial with a 4. I rolled in too deep and started thinking about red lighting and hesitated letting go of the button. .076 light to my opponents .051. He ran a 6.339 on a 6.32 and that was my 6.344 on a 6.34. Just an off day on the lights as they were all over the map. I did get my pound of ice cream when I was done though.

I'm glad the car ran well.... low 80's in October? Apparently I live in the wrong part of the country.
