just to confirm the column bracket (upper right hand corner of the picture) was painted black (semi-gloss i would guess) in all cars and the other column parts in the picture should all be the same color, in this case blue? The inner 2 column tubes (not pictured) where natural?

what about the 2 cover plates that seal the column to the firewall? Mine are black, but am unsure if these were painted originally or later?

fyi, the inner shift/lockout tube is originally natural with a zinc plated lever( the whole tube and lever is plated in this one)

just to confirm the column bracket (upper right hand corner of the picture) was painted black (semi-gloss i would guess) correct in all cars and the other column parts in the picture should all be the same color, in this case blue? correct, colored to match the interior The inner 2 column tubes (not pictured) where natural? correct

what about the 2 cover plates that seal the column to the firewall? Mine are black, but am unsure if these were painted originally or later? as assumed, should be black

the parts that youll be painting blue should be in suede finish.

last one.

The black has decent level of gloss to it, just not super glossy by todays standards
I use a single stage enamel dulled approx 15%( essentially just enough to take the glass look off of it)
