I was wondering what the grey texture is called that is on the inside surround of my grill, and does anyone know how I can reproduce this. someone before me must have tried to clean it up and wore some of it off in a small section. thanks, joe

I used light argent silver on mine. dead on match. I had a pint of ditzler setting on my shelf for 30 years. Just got lucky it was still
ok. can get more info for you if you need. like the number on the can
maybe you can find a good match.

I used a Krylon dull aluminum and it matched well and judges at Carlisle were fooled, but the link above is for the argent silver. It wasn't available until recently. After you restore your trim, mask the outside and spray the argent. Good luck.
