Probably not a big deal to the faster guys, but last night I had a new best 60 ft. time on my same old junk. Two time runs were 1.44 in the left lane, 6.57 ET in the 1/8th, 1.43 right lane with a 6.55.
Ran a dragster in the first round, dialed 6.54, car hooked hard! It normally picks up the fronts a couple inches, but when it hits hard you can feel some slack in the steering wheel. Looked over at about 600 ft., no dragster yet. Dragged the brakes a bit and went through 6.530, dragster dumped me and won. I had room to win, went first .036.
This car has a 440 with iron heads and a single vac. secondary carb. Phoenix tires have 184 runs on them.

It's the tires,,,when those Firestone/Phoenix start putting off brown smoke(cords),they really hook..
