Love A bodies with cowl hoods, to the wind shield to be exact..

Not to high jack, but it was stated earlier they made the cowl functional.. How is that done??

Those look soooooo much better than a six-pack hood on those a-bodys

That's your opinion, I like the cowl hoods also, but I loved the 6pak on my 69.

Anyone know what kind of scoop Josh King has on his duster? maybe he'll chime in here

Im really getting the itch to do a cowl on my scamp, but I want one that is atleast 4" and goes back past the cowl panel or to the window and then i just trim it to how i want it so my wipers can still work

I think im going to call glasstek and VFN and see how much they charge for a complete bolt on hood

Do u think there would be room when the hood is up to clear the windsheild with a cowl hood past the cowl panel? :shruggy

Glasstek will make them either way. The bolt on you can't extend back because it will hit the window when you hinge it up. I had to trim the end of the cowl to clear my window. Lift off can be made to go all the back....

It really doesn't look that that "squared" off off near the window in real life, I think it's the angle of the shot..

I needed it that way to cover up where the vent grate was and to make room for an air cleaner
