Found out last night that my trac-loc in the dana is toast and I'm a 1 wheel peeler. 11K mostly highway miles. I believe they're rebuildable but I can't find any procedures. I saw some clutch paks on some jeep / 4 wheeler sites tho. Anybody rebuild one? It's that or pony up $500 plus for a True Trac.

Thanks for the info. I'll pop the cover this afternoon.
Sidegear problem sounds likely. I notice Yukon carries some upgraded gears but if I have to put any serious $ into this I'd rather chuck it for the true trac if possible.
The guy that built my rear didn't give me any options for a powr-lok and didn't recommend a detroit locker. I settled for the trac-lok after telling him I really didn't think that the spool he recommended would be right for me. This goes back about 5 years ago now.
Frankly I wish I'd have dealt with Dr. Diff the whole time. Have gotten stuff from him in the past and probably will again.
