What are the differences between the 1971 440 six pack carbs for an automatic transmission and those for a manual transmission?

Also, what's the difference between the 1970 and 1971 setups?

Jetting and idle feed restriction.

I believe also that 70' carbs w/out N95 had no provision for a bowl vent on the center carb.
70' N95 equiped cars had carb bowl vents and these were carried over to the 71' carbs.

In terms of performance, which set is generally preferred? Is the 1971 setup tuned for restricted emissions?
