I have a spare cam that I want to turn in to a bearing scraper by grooving the journals. Any suggestions / pics from those that have already made one would be appreciated. John

I used a hacksaw to cut across the journals. It cuts rather easy. Some cut straight across, while others cut at a angle.

I cut mine at a angle with the thought, that it would help expell any waste from the cleanup. Sorry no picks.

I used a .040 thick cut off wheel and cut the slot
on a angle... I'll see if I can find it to take a pic
