hoping to get to prp next month oct 16th test and tune can;t get a sat off, to much work' haven't run my car for almost 2 yrs !! nice run on the video !! yeah the mph is down little i went 142mph

Chip there has been several guys I have admired on here for getting it done on NA pump gas street cars..... I have been chasing their ETs for a few years as a personal challenge to myself! Jimmy and you are the last 2 and trust me' your next! It will happen eventually prolly at an event! Your the king on here IMO for an all motor pump gas streeter but I'm coming for ya big guy

Wow, thanks for the props man! That ride of your's is running real good, I don't doubt you'll beat my time soon. Must be my carburetor skills making it run so good. After all, I was the one that taught your carburetor to go 9s.
Jim is the one that got me motivated to build mine after I talked w/ him at the Mopar Nats in 2003(?).

I'm just glad two people ACTUALLY agreed to RACE after just ONE call out.... ....Most of these take a year and 2,000 posts back and forth and still dont happen.....you guys all have nice rides.....line em up...and run.

shouldn't be a problem. i beat up on that big hemi before. Luckily Chip was havin tracton issues though

i think most every year the average was over 10.20s. you still need to have a strong running car with a high enough gear and maybe a gear vender to make the trip IMO. not sure how long a big motor will last at 3800 rpms for 400 miles between tracks

Unless you mean displacements equivalent to IHRA pro stock mountain motors I believe most of the players in this thread and the drag week winner are running somewhere between 572 and 632 already! Correct me if I'm wrong!

yeah too badd chip wasn't closer !! not too many street cars can run pumpgas and drive anywhere and run 9s with out a poweradder!!if there is i'd love to see them ! my car goes 60mph at 2700rpm NO gearvendors od its got about 4000miles on this freshen up thats wy i liked the pumpgas drags everybody ran the same 93 octane fuel im going to try to do dragweek next year if it comes to the east coast again my girlfriend is wanting to go also [in her own 10sec street car] if we have the time she may be in her own 9 sec street car my car has been driving on the street for 28 years not 28 days like some of the so called street cars at drag week !! LET THE MACHINES DO THE TALK'IN can't race a computer !! LOL
