I am after a motor plate that will work with the alternator in the stock position, i've been using elephant ears i made years ago and after one of the damned things leaked last week at the track finishing my day, i think it's time to step up to something with less flex.

Andy F has a few options, not sure about alternator in the stock place though, but look to be OK

I really think you'd like the Andy F Plate and its nice to put the alternator down low.

I hate to hijack this thread, but what brand & part # are the headers on your car, it would seem they would fit our Demon & miss the front down bars, I hate changing the starter with the TTI headers on the car now. Again sorry for hijacking.
thanks,
Steve

They'r old school hookers. I think they are 2 7/8" primary. I bent the front bars to work with the plate but they come right out. I don't think i'll ever do inchassis headers again and I got 26" front runners with a little nudging!

Do you remember if they are competition or super competition & possibly 2" or 2 1/8". I hate to sound like I'm pressuring you for info, but the TTI's on the Demon have been welded 2 or 3 times & are getting thinner as we speak. I think they may be 10 or maybe 15 years old.
thanks again,
Steve

I run 2" TTI's and starter access is a nightmare.
I've run 2" hooker f.wells on mine, they clear well but tyre clearance is a problem and they run fairly close to the brake mc, also i think the only 2-1/8" headers are stahl or TTI.
If i were to change, i would buy proparts 2" partial fenderwells.
