Did anyone get any vidio or pictures of my crash on Friday? Car hooked and went on the wheelie bars and a joint broke and sent the car up and onto the guard rail. I have some and will try to post them. Jake

I saw one at the event photographers trailer, when I was looking for pics of my car. He should have them posted on his website sometime soon. Glad you're OK .

The car when it cam off the rail slid down the track on the lt side then came back on all fours and shot across the track to the lt lane and back to the rt lane. Both sides are damaged and undercarge trans pan and oil pan crushed from the rail, blew out both front tires. They found my glasses and phone on the track. Going back to the doctor today for another check up, my ribs are realy sore and i can hardly move. Jake

I about cry when I look at the car..was a very nice car..top of the line Inside and out. It is hurt bad ! Do you think you can fix it ? He hit both walls Mike..I not sure there is a good piece of sheet metal on it,

The wife and I saw you go buy on your side I about threw up right there, then I saw you when you picked up the stuff from the photographer and wanted to say something but felt so bad I couldn't think of anything to say.... So I'm glad your ok that's most important thing! but I'm sorry for your car I hope you can rebuild her

I only caught the tail end of it after it came of the first wall but man that looked like a bad ride.

I'm so glad your OK as that could have been much worse

Was it a heim joint, a u-joint or a joint for one of the wheelie bars?

Sorry to see/hear this happening to such a beautiful car. Thank goodness the safety equipment did it's job and there were no fires.

Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.

Glad to hear you weren't more seriously injured from that, could've been really bad.

I was assisting with the cleanup after that, you may have seen me back by the 330 cleaning your oil off of the trackside signs on the wall. I'm not on the track crew, but I work for the park full time taking care of all their equipment, so I like being around during big cleanups to keep an eye on everything.

The medical people did a great job of attending me. The clean up crew was able to get the track working really good for everyone. Sorry it was down for 2 hours. Jake

Jake, wow, that's looks bad...I am so glad to hear that you weren't hurt worse. I hope everything goes ok at the Dr's. and maybe he can give you something to help with the pain.

So sad about the car, too
