I have a 67 R/T that has been parked for 12 years. It just started to replace the brakes including a new master cylinder and noticed that one of the front flex hoses was completely clogged with crystallized brake fluid. I replaced both front hoses and the master cylinder and then started thinking......

Should I put a whole new brake line kit in the car? It is fairly cheap(less than $150) for a complete kit. Is this a good idea? Is it necessary? Am I just wasting money by replacing ALL of the brake lines?

If any one of those lines is rusted internally & fails think of the cost to fix your freshly restored R/T... Change them without question...

Yes I've seen lines look perfect on the outside crumble from rusting on the inside. Every car I have has all new lines gas and brake. As said cheapest insurance.
