Hi,
Any suggestions on gate plate option? I run reverse pattern and use the car on street and strip.

Anyone have experience of mounting rear exit shifters (winters standard shifter)? When looking at the instuctions, its seems like quite much brackets and also the shift cable routing back of the trans... Does installtion parts on trans clear a 3" system with H-pipe? Will cable melt of the exhaust system instead of the headers??

I use a Winters shifter and the gate pattern is #5. I really like their shifter. With 3" exhaust you may have to screw and clamp the cable up to the sub frame. To keep it out of the exhaust.

Okay, what about this, hard to tell maybe but does it looks like I could intsall the brackets in rear of the trans and route the cable without melting it...? See pic.

I have melt the darn cable for my hurst dual gate although I use heat shild. Think I give up that nice shifter for an rear exit one...

Yes the bracket will mount to the back of the pan. The shifter cable will have to go over the top of the right header. That is where you will have to fasten the cable out of the way of the collector.
