Remote or manual? I can check my 68 sport satellite, but its a manual mirror.

The b-body passenger side mirror was a pretty "rare" seldom seen OPTION in '68.
The factory passenger side mirror was always manual, but was a different style based on the driver's side mirror (remote or manual).

If you put it the same place dimensionally mirrored from a correctly placed driver's side, the vent window post will not obstruct the mirror.

My ds is cable operated, ps is a smaller manual one. A 68 gtx I had as a parts car didn't have one, but I think a 68 runner here had one also.

could you not make a template off the drivers door and just flip it over on the passenger side?

I put a passenger side mirror on the R/T in the same place on the door as the drivers side mirror and find the mirror almost useless, it sure looks good with twin mirrors but dont expect to find it very useful.

Mine doesn't have the mirror like that, it's a smaller thinner style one that the mirror and chrome piece its attach to move as one.
