Anyone open up the water passages in head gaskets to allow more flow?
I have a Mopar Mega Block with Indy heads and Cometic gaskets that I'm putting back together and always wondered if opening up the top slots or putting a .125 hole in the bottom ports that are totally covered would help or make things worse..

Thoughts?

i asked cometic a few years ago about that. they told me to just put them on as is. i did use a film out silicone sealer around the oil & water holes. stay safe, seeya.
