I'm trying to fine tune my setup and I noticed that when my throttle is wide open,I still have about an 1/8"-1/4" more travel available in my pump.Should I adjust this out to where it has a complete pump or is this normal.I'm trying to squeeze every ounce of power that I can.Any help would be appreciated-John

Full throttle .035 feeler gauge with pump at max stroke.

Thanks, has anyone had to bend the tab a little to get it to that clearance?

You can actually go .020 either way from the .035.DO it with the throttle linkage removed.Hold the throttle open as far as it will go and the pump arm fully depressed to get your clearance."Don't" bend anything, its not necessary. If you still can't get it ,get in touch with 62maxwgn.He can help.
