It's been done with Mopar but generally you have to build for a shorter front spring segment.
Career best 8.02 @ 169 at 3050# and 10" tires small block power.

Talk to guppy (demongup) he has been in the 7s with his demon and has won 3 or 4 8.50 index races here. I would have to say his car is really consisent and is mini tubbed, cal tracs, and 10 in tire. So yes it is very possible.

Start on the high side of recommended tire pressure for safety. You are on the narrow side for rims, and they become unstable faster (lower pressure) Than a wide rim combo.

ive been there on s/s springs 8.98 at 154mph  at 3910lbs on sheetz 93 octane
