Was wondering if anyone could measure a Comp 829 roller lifter for me since all of mine are in the engine. Trying to souce some alternatives. What I'm looking for is a dimension from the bottom of the roller wheel to the bottom of the push rod cup (overall length from roller bottom to top of lifter body minus the depth from the top of lifter body to bottom of pushrod seat), and also the distance from the bottom of the roller to the center of the link bar stud. Width of the link bar would be helpfull as well. Thanks in advance!

The drawing is from 2002, and at that time, I didnīt know who made the lifters in my 540. It was easy this time, I just attached the jpg today. Nice to be able to help out today

In comps catalog they list the pushrod seat at 1.7". Can't figure out where they get this number from. No matter how I do the math I come up with 1.4.

The spec in Comps catalog includes a 5/16" ball- .310" which would give you approx. 1.4" "effective length".
