I am looking for opinions on the adjustable secondary linkage setups found on some of the new DP style carbs for the street.
Some of these carbs are adjustable from 1:1, 40% delay, and 60% delay. Another style is setup for 1:1 thru infinite.
I have read where the 1:1 is not a "street" setup but maybe more for blower type application. What do you feel a 40% delay or a 60% delay for the mechanical secondary would apply to for a street car? Would a 40% delay work better with a big cube motor and a 60% delay work better with a small stroke motor?
What have you found?

Thanks

Good point. I have a 727 but I would be open to the opinions for the 4 speeders too.

Thanks
