Well, Al Alguire never thought we would finnish this but finally, after about 5 years (and an extra two years of planning), the thing is done. Now its enroute to Brisbane, Aus. where its new owner resides. Dont think i will ever try doing this again, but I learned a great deal from all of you...so..next time-if there is one-it will be ALOT easier. Thanks again. ~Dave

Glad to see it is finally all ready to go. To bad you cannot enjoy the fruits of your labor but I am sure the new owner will have a blast in that beautiful hotrod.

Now how many cars did I do over that peroid BTW I seem to have a stable building of those things around here

Al, you know I like to BS ya...hehe...heck i think you did at least two cars and three engines..lol

Here is a pic for Blofish..he asked to see the Eastwood "chrome" paint on the fiberglass front bumper. We also used a different chrome paint on the grill. They match pretty good...From a distance of about 10 ft its hard to tell its not real chrome, imo.

Hopefully the weather is better on the day of departure than it was the day you met me at Summit to get the chassis.

Sorry to hear it has to go.

Yes, everything went well...but yes it did sprinkle on us when we were loading into the truck..lol.but nothing like that nasty nite at Summit!

The car arrived safely in Brisbane yesterday. The new owner is nuts about the car!

Bryan, did you ever hear the B1 motor run? If not i can give you a Youtube link..

BTW, how is your baby coming along, cant believe I got mine done first! lol

My hood came from AAR if anyone is looking for another source. Nice piece but WAY heavy for a race car.

Dont know if you saw this vid...this was just before it left for AU.
