We also don't know if all of those 'GTX's' were born as a GTX or something else.

That's true, but it seems like most people who go the clone route make them Roadrunners. At least the moron that bought my dad's 68 Sport Satellite did All it needed was a few emblems and a rumpy exhaust to be a GTX clone and he went the Roadrunner route. It seems most people who aren't real mopar people have no idea what a GTX is.

To me that goes without saying. If I keep my 68 sport satellite, it will get a 440, but not the gtx emblems.
