was wondering if you guys could give me a recomendation for a light weight decklid for my 68 notchback barracuda, I am considering glasstek anyother ideas thanks

AAR fiberglass makes some real good parts i got my hood from them for my DUSTER and unlimited fiberglass have real good parts i got fenders & hood & decklid & doors & bumpers for my ROADRUNNER. . But i was going to call glasstek about making me a cowl hood for my DUSTER hope this helps .

Don't forget about shipping! Glasstek is closer to you than AAR. Both are excellent quality though.

Just a little 411 from a guy who was first making this decklid(don't have the mold anymore)....

IF you are buying the TL for a weigh reduction ... make sure that you GET IN WRITING what the supplier will make that part weigh. WHY ? ... because making a heavy part is very EZ ...and even though a heavier part costs more to make as far as material-costs ... the labor costs making a heavier part(most times because it is a sloppy manufacturing process) ... "makes-up" for that difference ....BIG TIME.

thanks for all the help, I dont believe that aar advertises the race weight decklid I think theres is around 25 lbs. vs. glasstek 7 lbs.
