Since I had my truck painted I have been looking for some clean used (yeah, right ) sill and step plates. After looking at more junk sill plates at the pull-a-part Saturday I had the idea to see if something different would work. Found an '85 Grand Cherokee (the full-size one) with some very nice sill and step plates. They are a little too wide and too long but will be no trouble to trim. They are heavier aluminum than the originals and after cleaning look almost new. $6 and some change.

They are available new at the dealer. Someone posted that late 1980's Ramchargers fit and are made of stainless steel.

Ask me my opinion of Frank Mitchell....... A Mopar crook!
