On a '70 'Cuda built in December of 1970, no rear speakers, no rear defrost, should the rear package tray have speaker holes in it anyway?

I've seen A-body ones without holes but not sure about E-body?

Thanks, Nick.

Ok, two votes for no holes vs. one for holes.

BTW, the car is an 8-track stereo car but still no rear speaker.

Nick.

Hi Nick,
If there were no rear speakers the package tray will have a smooth finish with no holes.

I saw a very original 71 Duster one owner, original interior, low miles, repaint... in a shop a month ago. It's rear package tray has edging on the sides were it meets the headliner. Like sewed up upolstery edging about 1/8 wide.

Original with edging???
