What is the best way to get the wiper arm off.Do I need a special tool as I do not want to mess up the paint..Also Is this the original desighn wiper blade? It is an anco.
Also,whst is the best way to clean or polish the arm as it has gotten dirty over time.Thanx..

use a rag and pull STRAIGHT off.
try not to pry it.

It actually helps to apply some downward pressure on the blade side of the arm while pulling on the opposite side...A hook tool can be helpful but obviously be careful....

This is what you need.

Takes one hand and about 10 seconds to get the arm off, and unlike the other tools I have seen, no part of this tool ever goes near the car.

Hope I can find it local.What about something to clean the arm with to shine it up..Thanx.
