1970 big block cuda..... what does the correct battery hold down kit look like? Is it just the two "J" hooks holding it down or do some also have a little "tab" on the top that sticks out and has a screw hole in it to run a small bolt into the top of the inner fender?

Anyone have a pic of a correct application? Thanks!!

Would this reproduction part (pictured above)be correct for an OE Gold restoration or would one have to find a NOS set up to score perfect?

I'm thinking the pictured unit is for 70 cars and just the very early 71's. Didn't the battery hold down change when the 71 B bodies came out and the E bodies shared the 71 B inner fender with the extra hump by the battery?

The reproduction pictured has a plastic coating. NOS ones have a thicker rubber coating. There is a noticeable difference. We have some NOS ones, and the same repro ones Bill has.

The Oct car doesn't surprise me, but the Jan does a little. When was the changeover again?
