I want to get a new engine wiring harness for my 1965 Coronet with a 440 and electronic ignition.

Who offers the best product?

i'll have to look at my reciepts but i believe i got mine from year one and was made by M&H (?). anyhow, it was a stock type replacement, color codes and connections were perfect. i did splice a blue wire in at the ballast resistor for the electronic igniton, which is easy. i also got the head light harness and it worked out good. if you need details or i can be of any help let me know.

Year One/M&H is your "only" choice IMHO,....if your application is not available contact YO about having M$H make a special harness for your application required

When I restored my 70RR I needed a new console harness. They were not reproduced so I sent my old harness to M&H and they made me an exact duplicate for $35.

Sounds like M&H has some happy customers. I will give Year One a look.

Lew, I will give you a call if I run into a problem.

Thanks guys,

when i did my 65 coronet i got rid of everything electrical from the firewall forward. i don't know enough about electrical stuff to take chances with fires and breakdowns. i feel its money well spent.

I agree. When I put the 440 in I had to lengthen the distributor wires. I want a harness without any splices.

Thanks,

Most likely the same one that YO sells which would be M&H.

stay away from that evans crap. the one i bought had bad crimps all over the damn thing. it was horrible. there was a thread floating around here somewhere that quite a few other guys had the same issues that i had with that evans junk. go with the piece from year one. thats a really nice harness and more correct if thats your thing.

It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

True,
all Mopar specific M+H harness's are and have to be sold thru Yearone. no exceptions.

BUT, buying from Yearone as a reseller is possibile( as an example Paddock sold reboxed/re-labeled Yearone / M+ H harness's )
