Looks like our mini van with less than 99K on it may have a head gasket leak. We bought it off her dad and the warranty was for 3 years (I think.) Is there a problem with these motors? Nothing in the oil so far. I have a case number and they are telling me $50-100 for Dodge to look at it.

Only open recall they told me about was the J-38 air bag sensor recall.

This shouldn't be a problem. I am not going to pay a dealership to fix this.

Coolant is running down the side of the block and collecting on the top of the oil filter. What is weird is the gold paint on the Pure1 oil filter is mush on the bottom

I am going to research this on the web right now. Let things warm up so I can do the oil in the Cummins while the outside temperature is blazing hot!
