Looking for a Budget Master Cylinder with a diameter below 1' for my Scarebird Disc Brake Swap on 68 Belvedere Station. No need for the 100 bucks aluminium 15/16 MC from Mopar. Did Mopar put any that small Diamater MC's in cast iron? I used the 1,xx from a 76 Cordoba in another application but with power brakes. For this project I want to keep the brakes manual. Wilwood makes some very cheap 7/8 for example but can I get adapterplates to mount them properly?

'73-'75 A-body POWER brake master cylinders are 15/16" bore.

BTW, the only 7/8" Wilwood master cylinder that fits your application is $250.

Brakes sound like a good place to cut corners and go cheap.

You can run the 15/16" bore iron master with manual brakes if you find a push rod retainer grommet.

As far as I know, I'm the only source for 15/16" and 7/8" bore aluminum Mopar master cylinders that are compatable with manual brakes.
