Just started happening yesterday. Went to start the car in park and it reacted like the battery was dead. Charged it and still reacted like it wanted to start but it clicked and grinded a couple times and when you turned the key again nothing happened. Put it in neutral and it started every time. Went back to start it in park and nothing.

Before I take it to my local mechanic is there anything I can look at?

I thought about that. If so that switch didn't last more than 2 years.

I would appreciate you keep your smart ass comments to yourself. I'm trying to get some helpfull information from experienced people to a problem and your childish remarks are not needed! If you can't respond in an adult manner go somewhere else. It appears you and pinkduster clown know nothing about these cars anyway!

Sounds good and a cheap fix. I'll swap out a new one. Thanks.

W a jumper wire w alligator clips on each end jump the "grn" male terminal (not the wire you pulled off of the male terminal) on the starter relay to ground & see if will crank/start. If so trace that wire to either the trans/clutch (whichever is app) & see why/adj it so it has continuity to ground or can permanently ground the male lug on the relay being aware that it will now crank/start in any gear/position (potential safety hazard)

No sense of humor at all. You'll NEED one around here.

The reason your trim rings are too tight is because you are trying to put trim rings for a 6 inch wide wheel onto a 5.5 inch wide rim. Go see your other post.
